At the historical juncture of concluding the 14th Five-Year Plan and planning for the 15th Five-Year Plan, the four major state-owned energy enterprises unanimously identified technological breakthroughs and industrial upgrading as core pathways to resolve the “triple challenge” of energy security, green low-carbon development, and economic affordability during their mid-year reviews: CNPC proposed a three-dimensional transformation strategy to build “second and third growth curves”; SINOPEC focused on dual-track progress in “decisive conclusion” and “laying the foundation for the future”; CNOOC Group prioritized forging new qualitative productivity in marine energy to establish differentiated advantages; while China Pipeline Network Group accelerated the construction of a modern “national unified network” energy infrastructure system. 

The keywords “innovation-driven,” “new qualitative productivity,” and “world-class” not only dominated the conference discussions but also reflected their accurate grasp of national priorities, insight into environmental evolution, coordinated high-quality development strategies, and commitment to fulfilling central enterprise missions in the new era.
